Today’s business environment is constantly changing and constantly challenging. Hove Business Association is here to be a friend, ally and supporter when it comes to getting the things done that help local businesses to thrive and prosper. Our members are drawn from the professions, from retail, from transport, travel and leisure, and through our partnerships our reach extends into the public and third sectors.
Since 1929 Hove Business Association has been working with its member businesses to help promote doing business in Hove, and to help tackle the local issues that get in the way of local businesses doing well. Recent initiatives have included projects to promote the Hove retail sector through Christmas marketing initiatives and support for Small Business Day. A number of new initiatives are also being developed to help improve the environment for doing businesses in Hove.
We’re focused on local business needs but we are not parochial. We work with partners in the city and bring in speakers – for instance from the Bank of England – to give us the national perspective on changes affecting business.
We work alongside the Hove Business Partnership to help promote the interests of businesses in Hove, large or small.
Update – 26.02.18
Due to unavoidable circumstances we have had our volunteer committee halved. We are currently looking for new members to join us so we can create the ideas we have been working on in the last year. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to give the time. We meet for a couple of hours each month and then we may assign projects within the group based on time available. We would not expect that to take more than a few hours each a month.
